Living Knowledge Online Festival 2021
28 June - 2 July 2021
Because we missed all our friends and colleagues from all over the world, and we had to postpone the 9th Living Knowledge conference for another year, we decided to organize an in-between event again. Therefore, from 28 June- 2 July 2021 we have celebrated together the 21st anniversary of the Living Knowledge Network and the successful ending of the InSpires project. We had a great week with 270 participants!
The Online Festival offered:
- Pre-recorded video presentations, which could be watched at everyone’s convenience in any time zone. A number of them is now publicly available on the Living Knowledge Festival YouTube Channel. The ‘comment’ option can be used for questions or discussions. The full program is available HERE, but some videos are no longer available.
- Workshops and live panel sessions. For the detailed programme, click HERE.
- Discussion sessions on the different thematic strands in the conference
- A social space in Gather.Town, where we could meet with presenters and other participants, have your own Open Space meeting, or go for a chat or a virtual drink with old and new friends
The Festival was organized by the Science Shops at the University of Groningen, in collaboration with international partners of the Living Knowledge Network, especially the InSpires consortium.
The InSPIRES project is coming to an end after 4 ½ years…. It has been such a great adventure during which our eight partner institutions have been learning a lot and working on the concept of Science Shops in their specific local contexts, in Europe but also in Tunisia and Bolivia. Our team will be delighted to share with you our main achievements during the LK Festival, such as our InSPIRING stories, our training materials, our Open Platform and Impact Evaluation methodology and online tool, and much more. We hope to see all the community reunited and we thank the LK network for giving us space during the Festival to celebrate the end of our project.
